1. Who publishes Finerz
Finerz is published by Arthur Capo, sole trader registered under SIREN 937 575 876, with offices at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France.
The app is hosted by Railway Corp. (Netherlands) and Supabase Inc. (Ireland). Contact: support@finerz.app
2. What Finerz does
Finerz is a mobile app that analyses your bank transactions to help you understand where your money goes.
- Automatically detect your recurring subscriptions
- Calculate what will be left after your upcoming direct debits
- Identify the fees your bank charges you, down to the cent
- Alert you three days before a subscription is charged
3. What Finerz is not
Finerz is neither a bank nor a financial adviser. Nothing displayed constitutes investment, wealth management or credit advice. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.
Finerz does not cancel your subscriptions for you. The app can tell you where and how to cancel with a listed merchant, but the process is yours to complete and its outcome does not depend on us.
4. Creating an account
You can sign up with Google, Apple or an email address. You must be of legal age and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
One account per person. You can delete it at any time from within the app, under Profile then Delete my account.
5. The subscription: what is included
A Finerz subscription unlocks every feature: automatic subscription detection, unlimited bank account connections, disposable income calculation, direct debit calendar, alerts three days before a charge, a statement of your bank fees, and savings tracking after you cancel.
6. Price, free trial and payment
Two plans are offered, monthly or yearly. The prices shown in the app prevail: they come directly from the App Store and include all taxes.
Where a free trial is offered, its duration is stated on the purchase screen. At the end of the trial, the subscription continues automatically at the displayed price unless cancelled before the trial ends. A free trial is reserved for new subscribers and can only be used once.
Payment is collected by Apple through your Apple Account. Finerz never receives or stores any card details.
7. Automatic renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours preceding the end of the current period.
Cancellation is done exclusively from your device settings: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Finerz, Cancel Subscription. This rule is imposed by Apple: we cannot cancel your subscription for you, and no button in the app can do so.
After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
- At expiry, your account returns to free access
- Your banking data is automatically deleted
- Your Bridge user is deleted
- Subscriptions you added manually are kept
8. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Refunds are handled by Apple, under its own terms. Any request must be addressed to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We can neither grant nor refuse a refund.
Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you waive your fourteen-day right of withdrawal as soon as access to the service begins immediately after subscribing, which is the case here. The free trial, where offered, lets you evaluate the service without commitment.
9. Your bank accounts
Access to your accounts goes through Bridge, a licensed and supervised provider under the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2). The connection is read-only: the app cannot initiate any transfer or direct debit.
Connecting an account requires your explicit consent, collected by Bridge. You warrant that you hold the accounts you connect, or are duly authorised to do so.
You may withdraw that consent at any time by disconnecting the bank from the app. The associated data is then deleted. Under PSD2, your bank may require your consent to be renewed periodically.
10. What we guarantee, and what we do not
We do everything we can to provide a reliable and available service. Three limits should nonetheless be understood.
- Automatic detection is not infallible: a recurring charge may be wrongly flagged as a subscription, or a subscription may go undetected. You can hide any incorrect detection from within the app.
- Amounts and dates shown are estimates based on your history. They do not replace official information from your bank or your providers.
- The service may be interrupted for maintenance, or because Bridge, your bank or our hosting providers are unavailable.
11. What you agree not to do
Breaching any of the points below may lead us to suspend or delete your account, having informed you beforehand where possible.
- Use Finerz for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to access other people's data or the systems hosting it
- Circumvent technical protection measures
- Extract service data in bulk by automated means
- Connect bank accounts you neither hold nor are authorised to access
12. Intellectual property
The app, its brand, its content and its detection algorithm remain the exclusive property of Arthur Capo. The subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive right of use, with no transfer of ownership.
Your banking data belongs to you. We claim no rights over it.
13. Personal data
How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes
These terms may change. Any substantial modification will be notified in the app or by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to support@finerz.app so we can seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
For any question, write to support@finerz.app.
